Giclée printers use archival inks which make the archival properties of giclées much higher than lithography or silkscreen prints. The pigmented ink / media combinations used in our printers have light fastness ratings of up to 200 years.
Not only are Giclees going to last longer than our lifetime but their visual quality is also undeniably extraordinary which makes it hard sometimes to distinguish a giclee print from the original.
