Fremantle has retained many of its original buildings. Many have been renovated and refurbished to their original grandeur. The City of Fremantle is committed to preserving its heritage and celebrates annually.

During the Fremantle Heritage Festival the city comes alive with music, events, workshops, tours, activities and awards that showcase the City’s diverse cultural, social, natural and built heritage.
